The result for generation 2021 promises to take the famous golf ball to the next level and be the best performing and most consistent model ever. Titleist used a core-to-cover process (improving each individual layer from core to cover) with the aim of ensuring that all golfers, whether they are the best in the world or amateurs, can always perform the same type of strokes. So what does this change entail? To start, the '2.0 Dual Core' has been further improved, delivering a bit more distance into the solid Pro V1x core. The result is a stronger, higher ball flight with more spin than the Pro V1 off the tee but less towards the green. The cover has undergone the most noticeable change: for the first time in ten years, the dimple pattern has been updated! The 348-dimple pattern has been optimized to maximize distance and flight consistency. In addition, the cover is made of a cast urethane, which makes the cover even softer, allowing you to create more spin on and around the green for more control in the short game.
